フィルターは活性レイヤーもしくはその選択範囲の矩形の一角にあたかも円錐形に巻き上げたかのような加工を施し、 その空いた部分から背面側のレイヤーが見えるようにします。 このようにしてアルファチャンネルつきの「めくられたレイヤー」が作成されます。 元のレイヤーも下のレイヤーが見える空き部分は完全透過となります。
