5.4. Feilkonsollen

Feilmeldingar er ein logg over eventuelle feil som har oppstått medan GIMP køyrer. Meldingane her er meir fyldige enn dei du får via «GIMP-melding». Du kan lagra heile loggen eller deler av han for seinare bruk.

5.4.1. Aktivering

Dette er ein dialog som kan limast inn i andre dialogvindauge. Sjå nærare om dette i Del 2.3, «Dialogar og samlevindauge («dokker»)».

Du har tilgang til dialogvindauget

frå biletmenyen via Vindauge → Dialogvindauge → Feilkonsoll
eller frå fanemenyen i ein annan dialogmeny ved å klikke på fanen og velje Legg til fane → Feilkonsoll

Trykk denne for å slette feilloggen.

Lagra alle feil

This button lets you save the error log to a file. A dialog window Save Error Log to File lets you choose the name and the destination directory of this file.

You can also select a part of the log (by click-and-dragging the mouse pointer or by using the Shift+arrow keys key combination) and save only this selected part by pressing the Shift key while pressing the button.

	Du kan også finne desse funksjonane i fanemenyen for ein dialog ved å klikke på symbolet eller i lokalmenyen som kjem fram når du høgreklikkar i dialogvindauget.

5.4.3. The «Error Console» context menu

Besides the functions mentioned above using the buttons, the context menu has the following additional actions. You can access the context menu by right clicking in the error console.

Select All: This command allows you to select all the messages in the log.

Highlight: This command allows you to change which kind of messages will highlight the error console. You can enable or disable the following three kinds of messages: Errors, Warnings, and Messages.
